Feta Bake

Serves:

Serves 4 as a dip

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • Dried chilli flakes

  • Tin of plum or chopped tomatoes

  • Dried or fresh oregano leaves

  • 2 x 200g blocks of feta cheese


Preparation

Step 1


Heat olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic and cook for a minute then add the chilli flakes and tomatoes. Simmer for about 25 minutes until mixture has thickened. Season with salt & pepper and stir in the oregano.



Step 2


Heat oven to 200 (180 fan). Pour the tomato mixture into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle in the feta cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.



Step 3

Lovely as a dip with warmed crusty bread.
