Ingredients
100g Plain Flour
50g Unsalted Butter
200g Mature Cheddar (grated)
Pinch of Salt
1tsp Smoked Paprika
Preparation
Step 1
Whizz all ingredients in a food processor to form a dough. Wrap your dough in cling film and rest in the fridge for at least an hour.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 190 (170 fan). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough until approx 2mm thick. Using a cutter approx 4 or 5 cm wide cut into rounds and place on the baking parchment.
Step 3
prick each biscuit a couple of times with a fork and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Step 4
Remove from oven and let cool. Wonderful with lighter cream cheeses and dips or just on their own.
