We have been blessed with a particularly mild February. The month that is sometimes referred to as the border between Winter and Spring has been kind to us and given us the opportunity to walk to abandoned beaches through magical forestland to take in breathtaking views.

Visits to the abandoned empty beaches allow for reflection. Many in need of the yearly volunteer cleaning services to come usually in March but it is a real treat to be able to enjoy them as your own private spaces at this time of year.

Its so nice to have the time to notice all the berries, creatures and plants that during the busy summer months you rarely get the chance to appreciate.

February is also the month when the town feels like it is becoming alive again as carnival is celebrated before the restrictions of Lent. So plenty of time socialising with friends over the odd Tispero at selected favourite tavernas is enjoyed in the sun.
